This fic, this fic. It had been kicking around in the back of my head ever since I started seriously updating my YYH recs, and I was like I really hope I can find it... and I did! It's a slow burn of Kurama and Hiei and the sexual tension and the snark and the humor and the final cumulative climax... nnggggghhh yeah, I'm not exactly coherent here. But it's not a PWP - Hiei and Kurama meet each other after three years of working for Mukuro and Yomi, respectively, and the careful way that they test each other and the word games and the final satisfaction (ahaha and the snark, did I mention the SNARK??)... I did say slow burn, yeah? :D
