Honestly, I came out of Captain America wanting Steve/Peggy fic - I was so sad that they only got that one kiss, when it was obvious that they really cared about each other, and I wanted fic to sooth the sadness of them never actually getting more - but the slasher in me also latched immediately onto Steve/Bucky (especially that scene at the fair, right before Steve meets Dr. Erskine, when Bucky gives Steve a hug before leaving - I watched that hug and something in my head went "ding ding ding ding!" I'd also never read the comics, and so didn't know that originally Bucky was actually much younger), and there are some really sweet Steve/Bucky fics out there, which makes me happy happy happy~~~
