Yuusuke and Keiko are my other OTP in Yu*Yu*Hakusho, and I adore this fic because for once you get to see how much they genuinely care about each other. Like, I get the snark and the banter and all that is also their way of showing affection and their mode of interaction, but honestly, they must have really strong feelings for each other for Keiko to wait for Yuusuke for 3 years while he goes off to the Makai (that's like, not even long-distance, that's like a different world, and is he allowed to visit? Can they write/webcam?), and this quiet fic that depth of feeling perfectly. Yuusuke never breaks a promise he makes to Keiko.
