People who have the ability to capture the twists and turns in a demon's logic and ways of thinking amaze me... and Morgan D. does so exceptionally. Eien no Hakusho, as the author puts it, "presents stories that happen before, during, and after the original series." It's got all the strange (to me) demon logic and power play and undercurrents going, and half the time I think it's a happy Kurama/Hiei story while the other half the time I'm like "nonononono stop hurting each other!!!" But I always keep coming back for more.
